DESCRIPTION:🌈 Gender-Affirming Ribbon Clothing WorkshopHosted by Knowledge Keepers | For Indigenous & 2SLGBQIA+ Community \nJoin us for a hands-on\, gender-affirming ribbon garment workshop led by Indigenous Knowledge Keepers Bernice Jensen and Susan Oliverius. This space is created by and for Indigenous and 2SLGBQIA+ folks to explore cultural expression\, identity\, and community through the making of ribbon garments. \nTogether\, we’ll learn traditional teachings\, clothing-making/customizing techniques\, and the significance of ribbon work in expressing gender\, kinship\, and resistance. You are welcome whether you’re reconnecting with your culture\, fully immersed in your culture and identity\, or continuing your personal journey. \nWho This Is For:This workshop is specifically intended for Indigenous and 2SLGBQIA+ participants.
