Deconstructing Indigeneity through Art

We invite you to join us in exploring one’s creativity through beadwork, painting, and learning part of Secwepemctsín, as we engage in conversations concerning Indigeneity, culture, and shared experiences, in a social/academic space. In these activities, we encourage students from different backgrounds to share their knowledge, experiences and concepts of how Indigeneity is perceived from various parts of the world, and what information they would want to discover as they learn from Indigenous scholars and faculty. Our space is open to Indigenous, Non-Indigenous, and International Undergraduate and Graduate students. Food and refreshments shall be provided.
